    No lo entienden porque cuando un equipo estadounidense de cualquier deporte, gana la liga de USA, se autonombran campeones del mundo. Sin haber jugado contra nadie.

    What you bought (in the box) in the shop is a FOOTBALL = a round ball that you kick and control with your FEET ... that is why it is a FOOT - BALL ... The name of FOOTBALL is The World Name, for The World Game Just look at our World Governing body of F.I.F.A. meaning "Federation International FOOTBALL Association" I love to see "The World Game" grow in North America and I am very happy to see The F.I.F.A. World Cup Finals there again ... Its Great to see The Male World Game prosper and your Females have Massive Respect in a Global context.

    The financial gain for cup games for smaller teams doesn't come from winning the tournament but comes from the way the gate revenue is split. In regular league games the home team keeps all the money generated, but in a cup game the revenue is split between the two teams, so if a small low-division team gets drawn against a top team away from home sure they are probably going to get beat, but getting half the revenue from a a big team at a big stadium is the equivalent of winning the lottery.

    There is something genetic. Since the Spanish women's team is the best in the world (winner of the World Cup and the Nations League) by a lot of difference over the rest (France, England, Sweden, USA, etc.). Only Spain and Germany are world champions in both men and women. Nobody else. Neither Brazil (only in men) nor the USA (only in women).

    And yet, Spain only won because of an own goal. I get the feeling you're a Sp**s leaning kind of guy. If I'm right, watch the Porto-Arsenal Champions league match from this spring. You'll geek out on by far the best approach to possession hungry teams I've seen in a long while.

    Luke the reason there is something like relegation in soccer is because the league is run by a entity different from the clubs that runs all soccer and is usually connected to the government in someway (Fifa rules limit that connection). That entitity is suppose to (1) keep the competition open to every club in the country so it sets rules based on merit. (If not how would you determine which of the hundreds of clubs can play at the top level?) and to (2) promote the development of the sport for the improvement of the national team. In the US leagues like the NBA for example are just a group of rich guys competing among themselves. They are not going to kick themselves out of their own league and certainly won´t allow just anyone to join in the business.

    There is a mistake here caused by a lack of publicity of the first rounds of the champions league. In reality the tournament begins long before the group stage. The bigger clubs from bigger countries qualify directly to the group stage but before that champions from all european smallers countries and even the lesser clubs from big countries battle in elimination rounds to get to that stage. So technicaly every european country competes in the champions league, we just dont pay attention until they get to the group stage with the big guys and the lucky few little guys.

    The fifth wicket means if your standing infront of the wicket and bowl hits your leg then its out if it touhs your bat and then touchs your leg then its not out its lbw super over is means a match tied one over is played the first team makes runs in one over and then the oppent team tries to make more runs then they made if they made more runs they win otherwise they lose

  • @joyfulzero853

    The number of wickets is always significant. You only bat 20 overs if you don’t lose all 10 wickets before you reach the end of the 20 overs. The other factor is that cricket teams are a combination of players with batting skills and players with bowling skills. The most skilled batsmen go in in the early part of the innings, so as wickets fall, you are losing your better batsmen. As you go down your order of batting, you get to the bowlers who do not find it so easy to score runs.

    When you see a scoreline such as 159-7, it is said as 159 'for' 7 (wickets)

    You can pick your club to support, but you can’t pick where you came from. This is what makes Copa/Euro/WC etc. so special.. you back your country thru the good and the bad. And even when you think you’re done with them.. all it takes is to hear that national anthem and you’re back again lol

    You are absolutely right , the fifth wicket you were wondering is the batter blocking the wickets/3 stumps. It is called LBW (Leg Before Wicket). If the batter ask umpire to review (each team has 3 reviews allowed), then the Hawkeye cameras (ball tracking cameras) come into play which shows the 3rd umpire sitting in room full of screens with all 22 camera views. If the Hawkeye helps decide if the batter has blocked the ball that was going to hit the wickets or miss the wicket - hence, the out or Not Out decision is displayed on stadium screens. Thank you for your fantastic understanding of cricket. In nutshell, apart from the ball hitting the wickets or being caught by player, LBW is another way of throwing out the batter.

    About Bolivia, it is one of the weakest teams in South America. but, there is a drawback. In the qualifiers to reach the World Cup when they play at home, their stadium is approximately between 11,000 and 13,000 feet high. That's because of the altitude of the country itself. If you want to qualify, you have to face these same guys in extreme altitude conditions. Everyone who played in those conditions says they felt like they were lacking oxygen. This is one of the reasons why the qualifications for the World Cup in South America were one of the toughest. (In addition to having the presence of Argentina, Brazil and a rest of teams with a very equal level)

      You are referring to the great successes in times of tiqui-taca. Emotion was really high with the team in Spain. Tactically, I see the present team's tactics way more sophisticated. It's incredible how this team creates chances and has complete control on the contenders at the same time.

    • @Victor-jy8ko
      @Victor-jy8ko 18 годин тому

      @@hannofranz7973 people remember the tikitaka but what they miss is the sofocating pressure that they did after every turnover. Those posesion % were as much defense as they were offense. PLUS, I think Cucurella (maybe) and Carvajal (doubt it) would play if they were on that team. The rest wouldn’t even have a chance to make the team

    I'm glad to see you enjoying high level football in the stadium. It's completely different, right? About prices.. even here in Brazil (that almost everyone loves football) it's not easy to go in a stadium. Most people can't manage to go once a year (with their family) even though they don't lose a match on tv. There are ppl that go in every game, but they need to live for that. They can't have any other hobby, cause it's f*cking expensive.. hehe
